Moving USDT from ERC20 to TRC20

What to watch out for
- Send USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), not BEP20 or Polygon — their addresses look the same.
- A Tron address starts with a capital “T”; any Tron wallet works for USDT TRC20.
- To send USDT your wallet needs some ETH to pay the network fee.
- Send the exact amount from the order and do it within 30 minutes, while the locked rate is valid.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Ethereum (ERC20), a block comes every 12 seconds; on Tron (TRC20), a block comes every 3 seconds. The whole USDT ERC20 to USDT TRC20 swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
