Exchange rules
ROVEN exchange exchanges crypto with manual review. These rules apply to every order on the website, in the Telegram bot and in the mini app.
1. General terms
These rules govern crypto exchange at ROVEN exchange on the website, in the Telegram bot and in the Mini App. By creating an order you confirm that you have read and accept these rules, the AML/KYC policy and the privacy policy.
ROVEN exchange is a manual exchange service: an operator reviews every order. We don’t hold client funds in accounts, don’t open personal accounts with balances and don’t act as a broker or trading platform. Each order is a separate deal: you send one cryptocurrency and receive another to the address you specify.
- The service may only be used by adults who are entitled to make such transactions under the laws of their country.
- You dispose of your own funds and don’t act on behalf of third parties without their knowledge.
- The exchange must not be used for funds obtained illegally.
2. Definitions
- Order — an exchange request with a direction, amount, rate and payout address. Every order has a number and its own status page.
- Direction — a “you send → you get” pair, for example BTC → USDT TRC20.
- Payment address — the address (and memo, if needed) you send funds to for the order.
- Payout address — your address that receives the payout.
- Reserve — the amount of a coin currently available to the service for payouts.
3. Creating an order
- Choose a direction and enter an amount. The amount you’ll receive is calculated right away and shown before the order is created.
- Enter your payout address on the correct network, plus a memo if the exchange address requires one. An email or Telegram contact is optional.
- Create the order and send the exact amount to the payment address in the order.
- Press “I’ve paid” or wait for the operator to see the transfer on the blockchain.
You are responsible for the correctness of the payout address, network and memo. Check the first and last characters of the address before creating the order.
4. Rate and fees
The rate is based on market prices from major exchanges, including the service’s margin and the network fee for the payout. When the order is created, the rate is locked for 30 minutes: if the funds arrive within this time, you receive exactly the amount shown in the order.
- The service margin and payout network fee are already included in the rate — the amount to receive is final.
- You pay the network fee for your own transfer and any fee charged by the exchange or wallet you send from.
- If a direction has a fixed fee, it is shown before the order is created.
5. Minimum and maximum amount
The minimum amount is shown on each direction page and in the exchange form. The maximum for one order is limited by the current reserve of the coin you receive. If you need more than the reserve, contact support before sending funds.
6. Payment
- Send the exact amount from the order in a single transaction and on the network stated in the order.
- If a memo (tag, comment) is shown for the payment address, it must be added to the transfer.
- When withdrawing from an exchange, account for its withdrawal fee: the full order amount must reach the payment address.
- An order is considered paid once the transfer has the required number of network confirmations. Confirmation time depends on the network and its load, not on the service.
7. Order statuses
- Awaiting payment — the order is created, the rate is locked, the service is waiting for your transfer.
- Client paid — you reported the payment, the operator is looking for the transfer.
- Processing — payment confirmed, the payout is being prepared.
- Completed — the payout is sent, the transaction hash is shown on the order page.
- Cancelled or Expired — the order is closed without an exchange.
8. Payout
Once payment is confirmed, the operator sends the funds to the payout address in the order. A swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes after the funds arrive; it may take longer when networks are busy or an extra check is needed. The service’s obligation is fulfilled when the payout is sent: the transaction hash is published on the order page and the transfer can be checked in a block explorer.
9. Unusual situations
- Payment arrived after the timer expired. The funds aren’t lost: the operator offers an exchange at the current rate or a refund minus the network fee.
- Less than the order amount was sent. The operator offers to recalculate the exchange for the amount actually received at the order rate, or to top up the difference.
- More than the order amount was sent. The order amount is exchanged at the locked rate; the excess is exchanged at the current rate or refunded.
- Payment in several transactions. Send support the hashes of all transfers — the operator will add them up and complete the exchange.
- Transfer without a memo. The funds are found by amount, time and hash; the exchange is completed after you contact support.
- Transfer on another network or in another coin. The operator checks whether the funds can technically be recovered. If they can, an exchange or refund is offered; part of the recovery costs may be withheld.
In all these cases, contact support with the order number and transaction hash and don’t send funds again.
10. Cancellation and refunds
An unpaid order can be cancelled with the button on its page; if no payment arrives within 30 minutes, the order expires automatically. If funds have already been sent, the order isn’t cancelled — the matter is resolved through support.
A refund is possible if the exchange can’t be completed or the proposed recalculation doesn’t suit you. Funds are returned in the same coin to the sender’s address or an address you specify, minus the network fee. Refunds are made after your right to the funds is confirmed and, if necessary, after an AML check.
11. AML checks and order suspension
Incoming transfers may be screened with blockchain analytics tools. If a check shows high risk, the service may suspend the order and request information about the origin of funds. Funds linked to fraud, hacks, darknet markets or sanctioned addresses are not accepted. See the AML/KYC policy for details.
12. Liability
- The service is responsible for paying out the amount stated in the order to the payout address in the order.
- The service is not responsible for losses caused by an incorrect address, network or memo, or for delays caused by blockchains, exchanges and wallets.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. A payout that has been sent can only be returned by the owner of the payout address.
- The service is not responsible for the client’s tax or other obligations arising from the exchange.
13. Changes and contact
The service may update these rules; an order is governed by the version published when it was created. Questions about orders and these rules are handled by support — see the Contacts page.
