Swapping Ethereum for Dash: what you need to know
Exchanging ETH for DASH is useful when you rebalance a portfolio or want to move from one network to another without buying stablecoins in between. At ROVEN exchange the coins are swapped directly, and the rate is locked when you create the order.
Ethereum (ETH) is the leading platform for smart contracts, DeFi and ERC20 tokens. Dash (DASH) is “digital cash” with masternodes and instant InstantSend payment locking.
Why swap ETH for DASH
Shifting between ETH and DASH is a normal part of managing a portfolio: you change your exposure without cashing out to fiat. Dash was built for fast, cheap transfers, which makes it handy for payments.
Networks and addresses
| You send ETH | You receive DASH | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Ethereum (ERC20) | Dash |
| Address | “0x” + 40 characters | “X…” or “7…” |
| Network speed | a block comes every 12 seconds | InstantSend locks a payment within a couple of seconds |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Send ETH on Ethereum mainnet, not on Arbitrum, Base or other layer-2 networks.
- A Dash address starts with “X”; don’t confuse it with Bitcoin or Litecoin addresses.
- The rate is locked for 30 minutes: send ETH within that time and you’ll receive exactly the amount shown in the order.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Ethereum (ERC20), a block comes every 12 seconds; on Dash, InstantSend locks a payment within a couple of seconds. The whole ETH to DASH swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
Right now ROVEN exchange swaps ETH for DASH at 1 ETH = 48.64971 DASH, with a minimum of 0.02 ETH. Fill in the form above: no sign-up is needed, and you can track the order status online.
