LTC → ETH: swap details at ROVEN exchange
To switch from Litecoin to Ethereum you don’t need to sell for dollars first and then buy again. ROVEN exchange does it in one step: one order, one rate, one payout.
Litecoin (LTC) is one of the oldest Bitcoin forks, with blocks four times faster and low fees. Ethereum (ETH) is the leading platform for smart contracts, DeFi and ERC20 tokens.
Why swap LTC for ETH
Coins serve different purposes, and sometimes holding ETH makes more sense — for faster transfers, staking or the Ethereum (ERC20) ecosystem. With ETH you get access to the apps, staking and tokens of the Ethereum (ERC20) network.
Networks and addresses
| You send LTC | You receive ETH | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Litecoin | Ethereum (ERC20) |
| Address | “ltc1…”, “L…” or “M…” | “0x” + 40 characters |
| Network speed | a block comes roughly every 2.5 minutes | a block comes every 12 seconds |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Send LTC on the Litecoin network only and allow time for confirmations.
- An ETH address starts with “0x”; BNB Smart Chain and Polygon use the same format, so check your wallet’s network.
- Send the exact amount from the order and do it within 30 minutes, while the locked rate is valid.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Litecoin, a block comes roughly every 2.5 minutes; on Ethereum (ERC20), a block comes every 12 seconds. The whole LTC to ETH swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
The current rate is 1 LTC = 0.02594463 ETH and the minimum amount is 0.25 LTC. Create an order in the form above, and ROVEN exchange will send swap updates by email or Telegram.
