How to exchange SOL for BCH safely and at a good rate
To switch from Solana to Bitcoin Cash you don’t need to sell for dollars first and then buy again. ROVEN exchange does it in one step: one order, one rate, one payout.
Solana (SOL) is a high-speed blockchain with sub-cent fees, popular in DeFi and NFTs. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a 2017 fork of Bitcoin with bigger blocks and fees of a fraction of a cent.
Why swap SOL for BCH
Coins serve different purposes, and sometimes holding BCH makes more sense — for faster transfers, staking or the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. Bitcoin Cash was built for fast, cheap transfers, which makes it handy for payments.
Networks and addresses
| You send SOL | You receive BCH | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Solana | Bitcoin Cash |
| Address | 32–44 base58 characters | “q…” or “bitcoincash:q…” |
| Network speed | a transfer confirms in a few seconds | a block comes roughly every 10 minutes |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Send SOL on Solana mainnet, not wrapped SOL on other blockchains.
- Use a CashAddr address (“q…”) so it can’t be confused with a Bitcoin address.
- Send the exact amount from the order and do it within 30 minutes, while the locked rate is valid.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Solana, a transfer confirms in a few seconds; on Bitcoin Cash, a block comes roughly every 10 minutes. The whole SOL to BCH swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
The current rate is 1 SOL = 0.34529544 BCH and the minimum amount is 0.2 SOL. Create an order in the form above, and ROVEN exchange will send swap updates by email or Telegram.
