How to exchange TRX for BCH safely and at a good rate
To switch from Tron to Bitcoin Cash you don’t need to sell for dollars first and then buy again. ROVEN exchange does it in one step: one order, one rate, one payout.
Tron (TRX) is the coin of the Tron network, which carries most of the world’s USDT transfers. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a 2017 fork of Bitcoin with bigger blocks and fees of a fraction of a cent.
Why swap TRX for BCH
Coins serve different purposes, and sometimes holding BCH makes more sense — for faster transfers, staking or the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. Bitcoin Cash was built for fast, cheap transfers, which makes it handy for payments.
Networks and addresses
| You send TRX | You receive BCH | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Tron | Bitcoin Cash |
| Address | “T” + 33 characters | “q…” or “bitcoincash:q…” |
| Network speed | a block comes every 3 seconds | a block comes roughly every 10 minutes |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Send TRX on Tron mainnet, not TRX tokens on other blockchains.
- Use a CashAddr address (“q…”) so it can’t be confused with a Bitcoin address.
- Send the exact amount from the order and do it within 30 minutes, while the locked rate is valid.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Tron, a block comes every 3 seconds; on Bitcoin Cash, a block comes roughly every 10 minutes. The whole TRX to BCH swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
The current rate is 1 BCH = 864.230071 TRX and the minimum amount is 66.666667 TRX. Create an order in the form above, and ROVEN exchange will send swap updates by email or Telegram.
