SOL → BTC: swap details at ROVEN exchange
To switch from Solana to Bitcoin you don’t need to sell for dollars first and then buy again. ROVEN exchange does it in one step: one order, one rate, one payout.
Solana (SOL) is a high-speed blockchain with sub-cent fees, popular in DeFi and NFTs. Bitcoin (BTC) is the first and largest cryptocurrency, with a capped supply of 21 million coins.
Why swap SOL for BTC
Coins serve different purposes, and sometimes holding BTC makes more sense — for faster transfers, staking or the Bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin is most often bought for long-term holding as “digital gold”.
Networks and addresses
| You send SOL | You receive BTC | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Solana | Bitcoin |
| Address | 32–44 base58 characters | “bc1…”, “1…” or “3…” |
| Network speed | a transfer confirms in a few seconds | a block comes roughly every 10 minutes |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Send SOL on Solana mainnet, not wrapped SOL on other blockchains.
- A Bitcoin address starts with “bc1”, “1” or “3” — don’t confuse it with a Bitcoin Cash address.
- Send the exact amount from the order and do it within 30 minutes, while the locked rate is valid.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Solana, a transfer confirms in a few seconds; on Bitcoin, a block comes roughly every 10 minutes. The whole SOL to BTC swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
The current rate is 1 BTC = 765.437273 SOL and the minimum amount is 0.2 SOL. Create an order in the form above, and ROVEN exchange will send swap updates by email or Telegram.
