ADA → BTC: swap details at ROVEN exchange
Exchanging ADA for BTC is useful when you rebalance a portfolio or want to move from one network to another without buying stablecoins in between. At ROVEN exchange the coins are swapped directly, and the rate is locked when you create the order.
Cardano (ADA) is a blockchain with a research-driven approach and staking that doesn’t lock your coins. Bitcoin (BTC) is the first and largest cryptocurrency, with a capped supply of 21 million coins.
Why swap ADA for BTC
Shifting between ADA and BTC is a normal part of managing a portfolio: you change your exposure without cashing out to fiat. Bitcoin is most often bought for long-term holding as “digital gold”.
Networks and addresses
| You send ADA | You receive BTC | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Cardano | Bitcoin |
| Address | “addr1…” | “bc1…”, “1…” or “3…” |
| Network speed | a block comes roughly every 20 seconds | a block comes roughly every 10 minutes |
| Memo / tag | Not needed | Not needed |
What to watch out for
- Delegated ADA can be sent right away: staking on Cardano doesn’t lock coins.
- A Bitcoin address starts with “bc1”, “1” or “3” — don’t confuse it with a Bitcoin Cash address.
- The rate is locked for 30 minutes: send ADA within that time and you’ll receive exactly the amount shown in the order.
How long the swap takes
Swap speed depends on both networks. On Cardano, a block comes roughly every 20 seconds; on Bitcoin, a block comes roughly every 10 minutes. The whole ADA to BTC swap usually takes 5 to 30 minutes once your transfer is confirmed.
Right now ROVEN exchange swaps ADA for BTC at 1 BTC = 377 089.78 ADA, with a minimum of 100 ADA. Fill in the form above: no sign-up is needed, and you can track the order status online.
